UIC London has become the only language school ever to have won both the STAR English Language School for Europe Award and the British Council's ELTon Award for Digital Innovation. Both of these have been awarded to the school within the last few months.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
The STAR award is the only award voted for by the very same people who book students on to language courses - professional language-focused travel agents working across Europe. They know exactly what students are looking for and work hard to make sure they get the best service possible, so are a great measure of what's proving most effective in language schools across the globe. That UIC has won the award despite being a relatively young colleges, with fewer students than most previous winners, is a tribute to its quality.
A spokesman for UIC London said:
'We were delighted and very surprised to win the STAR Language school award. We were up against bigger and longer established schools in the shortlist so winning was a great confirmation we are doing something right. This award is voted on by agents from around the world and the main thing they are interested in is good service.'
The ELTon award is different, and was handed to UIC for a specific project - The Communication Station. It gives a chance to students who want to develop their language in a unique way by also learning how to make radio programmes - a truly unique opportunity - with their programmes broadcast to the UIC student body.
