In 2008, in response to student feedback, it launched its first evening classes in business English. And although student demand has risen massively in the years since, St George has stuck to its commitment to providing small class sizes and excellent tuition.
There are currently eight courses on offer, and students can choose to study either on Monday and Wednesday evenings, or Tuesday and Thursday evenings, leaving time in between for homework, practice, and employment.
Business English and Business English writing are just two of the courses that can be combined to help students meet their English language learning goals. Business English can be studied either as a four week option or an eight week option. It is a practical course designed to help students improve their business communication skills, expand their business vocabulary, and develop their business writing skills. The business English Writing course, which is a four week course, complements these general language skills by focussing on written English communications. On completion of the written business English course, students are given model documents on which to base their future business communications.
Both courses are practical and interactive and taught in small, supportive groups of similar abilities, so they provide students with the ideal environment in which to really develop their own individual skills.
