The English language sector is big business in the United Kingdom and, as this industry continues to evolve, it is important that the schools keep up.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
To match this progression and appeal to the modern student, Bristol Language Centre is re-launching itself with a host of exciting new features.
Now known simply as BLC, the school boasts a brand-spanking new look after being refurbished and renovated. Each of the 18 classrooms now contain interactive whiteboards, there are two multimedia centres with computers, a new canteen as well as a reception area. The school is extremely proud of its involvement with Bristol and to represent this there will be urban art pieces and vibrant colour schemes throughout the building.
The school, before being revamped, could teach up to 140 students at a time. With the new improvements, 250 individuals can now be taught English at BLC. The English language sector provides much money into the local and national economy so this move will generate this into Bristol. It could also provide further jobs for English language teachers, with up to 40 working during peak seasons, as well as opportunities for host families looking to make revenue for providing accommodation.
Since being founded in 2004, BLC has gone from strength to strength. The school teaches students from all over the world English language at a number of different levels, at different intensities and over varying timescales, in both the daytime and evening. Students also get the chance to live in one of the UK’s most exciting and cosmopolitan cities - by taking daytime or evening classes Bristol is on your doorstep. BLC also offers teacher training in the form of the Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT) which lasts for four weeks and prepares participants for the CELTA qualification.
If you are interested in studying at BLC or perhaps you are a local business or Alumni from the school, you can find out all the information you will need from the website at thebristollanguagecentre.co.uk. If you want to get a hands-on feel, to coincide with the launch of the revamped BLC, there is an open evening on Wednesday November 23 from 7pm - 9pm.
