Pineapple Grove, Downtown Delray’s popular art district, welcomes back it’s signature Thanksgiving Weekend art festival with a wide variety of handmade art, featuring the distinctive styles of the country’s top artists. The artistic media represented include paintings, life size sculpture, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics with prices ranging from $25 hand-designed earrings to $30,000 metal sculptures. Admission is free and open to the public.

This two-day juried festival makes the arts accessible to a broad audience and appeals to people of all ages including families, art enthusiasts and collectors eager to explore the work of new and emerging talent. Timed with the Thanksgiving weekend, the festival presents holiday shoppers an alternative to crowded mall shopping and offers a vast selection for those seeking unique gift items.

“Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to reconnect with some of their favorite artists that return each year and meet new artists that will be participating in this show for the first time,” says festival promoter Howard Alan. “It is a great venue in which to explore the distinct and varied styles of many different artists.”

The 200 participating artists, juried by an independent panel of expert judges and hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity, will be on site for the duration of the show and available to discuss their art and inspiration. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America.
