Classical Guitar Course- A 10 week course focusing in on techniques implicit in the classical and folk style. So along with learning about notation and reading music, the pupils will get an introduction to the finger picking style.

Frame Drums Course- A 10 week course that showcases the drums that are thought to be the oldest instruments in the world and are accessible to musicians and non-musicians alike. The group workshop is dynamic and energetic; covering basic technique, interlocking rhythms and enables students to step in time and dance with the drums. Its immediacy and relative simplicity make it accessible to all ages

Silk Road Course - The Silk Road is a new 10 week course in which students are exposed to the traditional music of various different cultures. They learn to sing a typical Chinese melody, an Indian Raga and a Balinese Kechak (chant) and are taught to compose in each style.

Key To Music is proud to announce that in addition to the 950 hours of contracted work with Hammersmith and Fulham music services, in the after-school centres and in-school provision they have been contracted to Brent Music Service this year to prep the “Rock Band” for a gig at Wembley Arena in April 2012. They have also gained contracts in Ealing and Richmond music trusts.

As part of this rapid expansion Key To Music have added a phone line in the office which will be manned by extra staff recently contracted.
The new phone number is 0207 351 3267
