DirectRooms.com is pleased to announce the opening of the Wyndham Hotel group’s Khao Lak Resort in Thailand on 15th August 2011.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
The new beachfront resort, known as the Wyndham Khao Lak Resort, will offer 134 luxurious rooms and 66 villas, as well as meeting rooms, a spa, swimming pools, and an American bistro and bar.
This latest addition to the ‘Wyndham family’ is the current extension of the 100 hotels opened in the South East Asian area in 2010. As a company, the Wyndham group is the largest hotel group in the world and owns approximately 7,210 hotels worldwide.
Speaking about the new Khao Lak resort, Eric Danziger, group President and CEO said, ‘’The Asia Pacific region continues to be a key area of focus for our company’s development.’’ This resort is part of a major expansion in the region and introduces Thailand to the Wyndham group.
Khao Lak is 60 kilometres north of Phuket and is serviced by Phuket International Airport. The new Wyndham hotel is just one of many Khao Lak hotels along this beautiful coastline.
Many sporting and tourist opportunities, including scuba diving, are available for the traveller in Khao Lak. The area is a popular destination for up-market travellers as it has managed to retain its peaceful and tranquil nature. It has avoided the tourist explosion that has affected other parts of Thailand. The beach is described as pristine and the resort is family friendly.
The development of the Wyndham Kao Lak resort can only add to the region’s amenities and pleasures. |
