Founder of Blue Coast Real Estate & Development, Charles Andrews sees economic development opportunities in Delray Beach and launches comprehensive website— www.LIVEINDELRAY.Com
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Delray Beach, FL – When entrepreneur Charles Andrews sought a new location for his business, he conducted some analytical research and determined that Delray Beach was poised for growth. After considering several South Florida cities, he opened his offices on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray. His criteria? An economically viable location that could support business launches and expansion; offer characteristics and amenities that lend themselves to small business development; and was highly marketable from a real estate standpoint. He and his team quickly realized that they were in the right place. Not only was Delray Beach viable and business friendly – it was dynamic, connected, and technologically advanced.
In order to share these realizations and encourage other businesses to join them in their mission of stimulating the economy through real estate development and reuse, Charles Andrews launched a website called LiveInDelray.com
“We wanted to spread the word to businesses and individuals outside of Delray—outside of South Florida—that Delray Beach is an ideal place to practice business and to live,” explained Andrews. “We began gathering information that we believed potential residents, investors, and business owners would want to see if they were considering Delray Beach.”
The Live In Delray website was launched nine months ago, and has enjoyed record success. It contains both important, helpful information along with lighter, entertaining information. Sections include events, dining, shopping, real estate, art and culture, and other points of interest.
Josh Waugh, who is a partner at Blue Coast, stated, “Every month, we are seeing more visitors come to the site. The feedback has been substantial, and positive. We have attracted people to Delray by presenting information about the town in a fun, interesting format.”
Increasing interest in Delray Beach as a place to live and work supports workforce development, as well as neighborhood development. Andrews explains that when he advertises the office suites that are available in his building, 110 E. Atlantic Avenue, he references the fact that Delray Beach is more technologically advanced than most other Florida towns. Andrews predicts that growth rates here will continue to exceed those of other Florida towns.
“Our city’s planners, our city’s initiatives, and our Delray institutions such as the Community Redevelopment Agency, Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown Marketing Cooperative are all selling points for attracting businesses here,” states Andrews. “There are many benefits to this area, and we try to showcase those with the Live In Delray site.”
