FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
March 4, 2011 – Portland, OR - FAB PDX, a local design and fabrication company has moved to Southeast Portland at 1317 SE 9th Ave, one block North of Hawthorne.
The new facility offers more room and an increased atmosphere of creativity in a district of artisans, craftsmen, and brewers. The company boasts a full wood shop and full metal shop equipped to build just about anything.
Founded in 2010, FAB PDX is a company devoted to actualizing the impossible. The fabrication team works closely with designers from many different firms to create unique and memorable one-of-a-kind pieces.
FAB PDX works to introduce reclaimed materials into the creative process — finding ways to re-purpose pieces that have character and can add an interesting dimension to their projects.
Currently, FAB PDX is growing and expanding, utilizing the talents of the existing team.
"Our new space is wonderful for what we do," says Emily Stutzman, FAB PDX co-founder, "It is bright, spacious, old-industrial, creative and full of possibilities. We've really grown into it and are working at developing it into a functional creative space."
To celebrate the new space, FAB PDX is hosting a launch party on March 12th. The party will include food, drinks, entertainment, networking and the raffle of a one-of-a-kind FAB PDX piece. Professionals in the design, advertising and creative industries are invited to attend. The party starts at 6:30 and runs through the evening.
