This bridge convention hosts over 2000 players participating in teams, pairs, mixed pairs, and same sex pairs. Walk-in players are also welcome on some days of the congress. The walk-in prices are 10.00 dollars per person. Registered participants will pay prices varying from 50.00 dollars for the Friday novice game event to 130.00 dollars per person for those playing pairs. Team rates vary per event at 200-600 dollars per team. There are some discounts available to specific age groups, such as senior citizens and junior players. Swiss Butler pairs will play on the 4th. Events are available for every level of bridge player from the novice to the very experienced.
The first place pair winners will go home with an estimated 1500 ASD prize, while the first place team wins approximately 3600 ASD.
Hotels in Gold coast include a variety of choices that will be suitable for individual needs. Courtesy shuttle buses are well marked and will be available to transport participants and quests from most hotels to the event centre. These will run on a schedule of approximately every 15 minutes.
