Harpist Joanna Newson will perform two shows at the Bouffes du Nord in Paris.

Music fans staying in Paris hotels have a chance to enjoy the distinctive sounds of American singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom next month.
Known for her eccentric, unbridled creativity and ambitious album projects, the California-born performer is due to perform at the city's Bouffes du Nord theatre on January 14th and 15th.
Newsom's main instrument is the harp, although her third studio album Have One on Me saw the artist incorporate more piano, harpsichord, electric guitar and orchestral sounds into her songs than previous efforts.
Released earlier this year, Newsom's most recent album is a triple LP that was praised for bringing a newfound accessibility to her work, despite its length.
In a review of a concert at London's Royal Festival Hall in May, the Guardian said that for all her idiosyncrasies, the 28-year-old's music displays "a melodic sensibility in the classic American tradition".
The newspaper also noted an improvement in Newsom's vocals, claiming that a "softer, more natural timbre" has replaced the unusual style found on her 2004 debut album The Milk-Eyed Mender.
Scottish folk musician Alasdair Roberts is due to support Newsom at her two Paris concerts, for which tickets are priced at €32 (£27.20).
Roberts has released music on Drag City, the Chicago-based label that also puts out Newsom's records.
