Nevada attorney Steve Oshins was voted into the NAEPC Estate Planning Hall of Fame, Class of 2011®.

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) has voted Nevada estate planning and asset protection attorney Steve Oshins into the Estate Planning Hall of Fame®, Class of 2011. This award is given annually in recognition of distinguished service in the field of estate planning to select individuals who are nationally recognized experts and leaders in this field. Recipients represent the multidisciplinary concept of estate planning by holding one or more of the following degrees or designations: Attorney (JD), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Certified Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Certified Trust and Financial Advisors (CTFA).

Mr. Oshins will be one of six recipients of this honor for 2011. He will receive the award at the 48th Annual NAEPC Conference to be held at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter from November 16th to 18th, 2011. The award ceremony will be Friday, November 18th.

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local Estate Planning Councils dedicated to establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards. NAEPC fosters public awareness of the quality services rendered by professionals who meet these standards. NAEPC builds a team approach involving cross-professional disciplines to better serve the public’s need in estate planning. Furthermore, NAEPC awards and administers the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation, a graduate level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within various disciplines of estate planning.
