Hong Kong's annual Ani-Com and Games Fair will get underway at the end of next month.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Travellers who are booking accommodation in Hong Kong for the end of July can amuse their inner child by taking a trip to the 12th Ani-Com and Games Fair.
The event will take place between July 30th and August 3rd 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and promises to be a popular hangout for the city's youngsters - and for the young at heart.
Demand for tickets for the annual expo, which is now in its 12th year, is expected to be high, with almost 650,000 people flocking through the doors of the five-day conference in 2009.
Leung Chung-poon, the chief executive of the fair, reckons this year's edition will be even busier - he told the Standard it will attract more than 700,000 people.
There are plenty of reasons that the Ani-Com and Games Fair will be a big hit with locals and people staying in tourist accommodation in Hong Kong.
For instance, video game giant Nintendo will make its debut at the event this year, while models, TV stars and highly-skilled designers will also be in attendance.
Despite this packed line-up, tickets for the event will cost just HK$28 (£2.50), which sounds like a steal for anyone with a passion for comics, games and collectibles.
