The annual Cinema Expo International held each June in Amsterdam is expected to be bigger than ever and demand for hotels expected to surge during June film event

The event brings together industry experts attending seminars, screenings and a trade show that showcases the European Movie Theatre Industry.
Set for June 21st to 24th at the Amsterdam RAI, the trade show will run from 11:30 to 16:30 on Tuesday 22nd, 14:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday 23rd and 08:30 to 11:30 on Thursday 24th, featuring exhibits from 60 of the industry’s top companies.

The expo also includes seminars on topics that include cutting edge marketing techniques, digital cinema and new technologies. Screenings of upcoming cinema releases also take place.

With so many delegates and exhibitors in town coinciding with the tourist season, hotel rooms are likely to be in demand warns Lek Boonlert, marketing head for DirectRooms, an online hotel booking agent. They suggest finding rooms for Amsterdam hotels well in advance.
