In this new collaboration, PetzCheckIN.com will donate 5% of all website sales to the Larimer Humane Society and Longhopes Donkey Shelter.

PETZCheckIN.com is a third party online pet sitter verification service. Members use the system to help remind friends, family or pet sitters to care for their pet while they are away. PETZcheckIN.com removes the human risk out of pet sitting, gives pet owners peace of mind and provides a way for pets to “tell” owners if they are hungry. The service guarantees that pets will always be cared for by requiring the pet sitter to call into a toll free number when they arrive at the client’s house. If by chance something happens and they don’t check in, the automated PETZcheckIN.com system calls the pet sitter to see if they are planning to provide care. Pet owners can also enter their pet’s information into the ePETZid form including food types, medications and vet contact information, which will remain on their personal profile on the website; just login for quick access to your pets emergency information. PetzCheckIN.com works on a credit system. Members purchase credits ranging from 5 to 30 that directly reflect the number of events purchased. For example 1 credit can equal 1 reminder call.
Larimer Humane Society, located in Fort Collins, CO, was established in 1969 as in independent nonprofit organization that provides shelter and care to stray and homeless domestic animals, and rehabilitation for injured, orphaned and ill wild animals. In 2008, the Larimer Humane Society provided shelter, medical attention and care to almost 12,000 domestic and wild animals. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center provided care to over 2,800 birds, raccoons, squirrels, coyotes, foxes, exotics and farm animals.
Longhopes Donkey Shelter is located in Bennett, CO and was incorporated in 2000. The founder, Kathy Dean, recognized the need for a donkey shelter in Colorado to keep unwanted donkeys from being sold for slaughter at local sale barns. She and her husband purchased 20 acres in order to Longhopes Donkey Shelter has rescued almost 400 donkeys.
