Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP announces its plan to open an office in the Atlanta, Georgia area in January 2010.

(October, 2009) Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP announces its plan to open an office in the Atlanta, Georgia area in January 2010. The Georgia office continues the firm’s national expansion and strengthens the firm’s commitment to growth in the Southeastern U.S. The firm has seven additional offices including three in the Southeastern U.S.: North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. The Georgia office will provide audit and tax services to clients in the insurance and alternative risk and employee benefit plan industry niches.

Marcia Jerding, CPA, an Assurance Partner associated with Ernst & Young LLP in Atlanta for over 17 years, will join Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP as a Partner effective January 1, 2010 to lead the firm’s Atlanta office. Marcia Jerding graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Alabama. She holds CPA licenses in Georgia, South Carolina and Delaware and is an active member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
