Svapnagata, which means 'dreaming' in Sanskrit, is a unique two-week festival of Indian music and welcomes over 60 of the finest Indian and British Asian musicians, dancers and choreographers.

Culture vultures heading to the English capital in the next few weeks have the chance to see a truly unique Indian festival in the city.
The Svapnagata Festival takes place between November 16th and 28th at the Sadler's Wells dance hall, which is situated on Rosebery Avenue, within easy reach of the wide array of London hotels.
According to the organisers: "The festival offers a dazzling array of performances from some of the finest Indian musicians, dancers and choreographers, presenting classical work in a contemporary context."
Performances that are due to take place at the event include a special acoustic evening by award-winning composer Nitin Sawhney on November 17th. He will be performing his own music with a range of international musicians.
Meanwhile, on November 18th, mandolin virtuoso U Shrinivas will present an evening of music alongside a number of other talented artists.
Tickets for the events are available now and vary in price depending on the show being attended and the seating options selected. Prices range from £10 to £35.
With a history dating back to the 1680s when Dick Sadler opened his 'musick house' in Islington, Sadler's Wells plays host to an array of different artistic, musical and cultural events.
