Twenty-three-year-old Iowa resident wins Harrah's "Next iBar Star" grand prize including $10,000 and a live performance at a coveted Blackjack Bar venue.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

St. LOUIS, MO - At just 23 years old, Fort Madison, Iowa resident and crooner Andrew Doll is now $10,000 richer and much more famous. He reigned supreme over six other semi-finalists chosen to perform live in the Harrah's Entertainment St. Louis (Harrah's) nationwide talent contest "Next iBar Star," which was judged on October 3, 2009 by rap-artist Chingy and Doug Hall from St. Louis' biggest talent agency.

It was Mr. Doll's soaring version of the karaoke standard "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard that helped him to win the illustrious title "Next iBar Star" as he beat out thousands of other performers (including singers, dancers, actors, comedians, magicians and ventriloquists) who sent in videos for their chance to compete for a grand prize of $10,000 and an opportunity to perform live at Harrah's iBar - the hottest Blackjack bar venue and nightlife scene located in the heart of Harrah's casino. Doll's live performance is scheduled to take place the coming months.

"I heard about the contest on the radio and just decided to give it a try. People have always complimented my ability to sound very close to the original artists of the songs I perform," said Mr. Doll, who added that he plans to spend his winnings on a new car.

When not rocking out to the hits of favorite bands such Journey, Aerosmith, and, of course, Def Leppard, Doll serves as a Choral Activities Director at Fort Madison High School in Iowa. And even though he's been singing since Middle School and in front of audiences as large as the crowd at Busch Stadium for a Cardinal's game, Mr. Doll says that there's more to him than just music. "Most people wouldn't guess it by my love of music, but I'm also a huge sports fan," he adds.

The "Next iBar Star" competition began in June 2009. Semi-Finalists performed live in one of 12 shows held every Friday and Saturday night beginning in July at Harrah's iBar St. Louis. The live finale was held on October 3, where Mr. Doll proved he was worthy of superstardom and was crowned with the ultimate title of the "Next iBar Star."
