Cabo San Lucas real estate properties are starting to sell again and the deals on the Pacific Ocean side are almost unbelievable. “The pacific side has always been the quieter side, offering beautiful beaches and excellent surf fishing. The only difference now is that it also offers the absolute best value in town for home purchasers” according to Greg Reddeman of Remax Real Estate in Los Cabos.
Cabo San Lucas is located on the southwest tip of Baja California Sur, and to go north one travels on Highway 19 along the Pacific coast. This spectacularly scenic route travels 45 miles through Cardon Cactus forests, seaside communities, and quaint desert oasis villages Elias Calles, Pescadero and Todos Santos before turning east to cross the peninsula to La Paz, capitol city of Baja California Sur. This area of Mexico is frequently on many travel and news organizations lists of the best places to live, including CNNs Best North American Places to Retire.
Situated just 13 miles north of Cabo San Lucas is the Seaside Estates subdivision of Rancho Migriño Haciendas that includes private access to Playas de Migriño (Migriño Beaches). Rancho Migriño Haciendas is a gated community with estates range from 1.5 acre beachfront lots to 10 acre Oceanview Ranchitos ( Mini Ranches). All of the luxury haciendas constructed in this community are totally green, utilizing solar energy electricity generating systems and fresh water storage systems in order to remain “off the grid”. “This is a huge bonus to home purchasers in Cabo” according to long time owner Wally Halicki, “You are completely self reliant for both energy and water and my utilities cost less than half of what most people pay in town. Add to that the fact that the Pacific Side is the only area where you watch the sun actually set in the water everyday and the whales on their natural migrations and you begin to understand how special this place really is.”
According to Reddman, “There are just so many reasons why Rancho Migriño Haciendas and other developments along the “Pacific Side” have huge upside potential for real estate investors. Many golf course/residential developments are planned for this area and the four lane highway connecting Cabo San Lucas to La Paz is already helping to greatly reduce traveling time throughout the state. The Cabo San Lucas Municipal Airport is also expanding its facilities once again, and will soon be able to accommodate commercial jetliners. Once the connecter highway is accomplished, the travel time from airport to your Hacienda at Rancho Migriño will be under a half an hour, less time than it takes to arrive in downtown Cabo San Lucas.”
