Balancing relationships and business can be tough anytime but is an extra burden in a downturn, especially for family-run businesses. Business Success Center, an Austin-based private incubator and accelerator, provides a free monthly networking and support group.
This free networking support discussion group, "Working Together Without Killing Each Other", meets the 1st Monday from noon to 1 at the BSC. Participants share their ideas on the month's subject and bring up other concerns for input from the group. Subjects have ranged from discipline and promotion issues to compensation and exit strategies. Attendees must be owners or co-owners of a startup or established family business or partnership.
The next "Working Together" session is Monday, April 6th, 12:00pm-1:00pm in the BSC office, 7600 Burnet Rd. #130 (Chase Bank Tower). Issue focus: fighting fair. Bring Brown Bag, soft drinks provided.
