FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Raleigh, North Carolina – February 11, 2009 – Strike For Survival can easily be brought to your city with the help of advisors and a complete manual on how to get started.

“After seeing how successful Strike For Survival has been in the Raleigh area alone, I am excited to see Strike For Survival brought to new cities to help the American Cancer Society raise money for research,” said Bob Liddle, event founder.

Strike For Survival holds an annual weekend of bowling in the Triangle area including locations in Raleigh, Durham and Cary. Based on the motto “Cancer-we all live with it”, all proceeds are directed to the American Cancer Society and their efforts to find a cure for cancer. The goal of the event is to provide a fun-filled, family friendly environment with the hope of every participant walking away with knowledge of cancer and how to survive it.

There are many ways to get involved on helping raise money for this cause. Become a sponsor, be a bowler or help volunteer. Bowling is only $25 per bowler and this cost includes pizza, drinks, shoe rental, raffle ticket, goody bag and all the fun and entertainment you can fit into a game. For more information on the event, visit www.strikeforsurvival.com

Strike For Survival is available and anxious to be expanded into new cities. There is a team of advisors ready to assist in any way they can to make this experience an enjoyable one. There is also a complete manual on how to hold a Strike For Survival event. On the Strike For Survival website there will be a place for each individual city’s link to it’s specific Strike For Survival event location.

“It is events like Strike for Survival that give the American Cancer Society more visibility in the community,” says Richard Hiatt of the American Cancer Society.
